If you have been considering getting an outdoor fireplace built for the pure comfort of guest coming over for a late night BBQ, or perhaps a relaxing time in a hot tub in the backyard, then its a good time to buy. How you design your fireplace mantel will definitely come into play. While outdoor fireplaces have the same popularity as wood burning stoves, one can have more options. You guessed right, the fireplace. So lets talk a little more about the mantel.
Stone is probably going to be the most popular choice for many, but you don’t have to go that route. There are plenty of designs that are available which you might find more comfy than the next. Usually though natural stone will have the best effect on the eye, and will look very homely compared to a bland flat material.

Ok so what if you are on a big time budget, and just don’t have the money to get what you would like. Consider getting a laver which can be moved around easier, and also is a lot less expensive than picking out a fireplace mantel design and having it built.
Remember that every type of fireplace is different including the terrain, so cost of your fireplace mantel will be different. There are kits you can get to build them yourself if you have the time and patience for it, but it may just be better to get a professional builder for this task. Enough said!
